The new professorship for Strategic Transformation Design, established for the 2025 winter semester, is part of the Master’s program in Strategic Design.
Strategic Transformation Design is a burgeoning discipline in research and education at the intersection of business administration and design. We train individuals to identify and visualize future opportunities within rapidly changing environments and to derive strategies for the necessary transformation.
To do this, we draw on an interdisciplinary repertoire of models and methods from both design and business to shape transformation from strategy development through to implementation.
Transformation designers structure change processes, visualize new paths, provide orientation, and open up spaces for change. They empower people and organizations to remain capable of action in a world of constant flux.
